The climate in Thailand is mostly tropical, with a mean annual temperature of 28° C. If you prefer a cooler period to visit the best time is November to March when the days are mostly dry and the humidity lower, although the island Koh Samui is best visited from June to September.

Thailand´s rich culture has been influenced by Cambodia, Laos, China, Burma and from the rest of Southeast Asia. Thailand's national religion is Theravada Buddhism and has become central to modern Thai identity. The Buddhist religious lifestyle in Thailand has remained almost unchanged for centuries and many Thais honor and respect it.
